Who we are

What we collect and why

When you call or WhatsApp us

To help you, we need details like your name, phone number, location, vehicle, registration and where the vehicle needs to go. We use these to quote, get to you, do the job and take payment. Our lawful basis is that this is needed to provide the service you've asked for (contract), and to keep basic business and tax records (legal obligation).

WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) as well as us. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to how they handle them.

The Request help form and "Use my location"

The form doesn't send anything to us or store anything on this website. It builds a WhatsApp message on your own device, and nothing is shared until you press send inside WhatsApp.

If you tap Use my location, your browser asks your permission first. Your location is only used on your device to add a Google Maps link to that message. We don't receive it unless you send the message, and you can remove the pin before sending.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how fast it loads. They don't use cookies and don't identify you personally. They record things like which pages are viewed, the type of device and rough location (country), and which call or WhatsApp buttons are tapped. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: keeping the site working well and knowing which buttons help people reach us.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers process your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.

Google Maps

The interactive map only loads if you press Show interactive map. At that point Google receives your IP address and may set cookies, under Google's privacy policy. Until you press it, nothing is loaded from Google.

Cookies

This website doesn't set any cookies of its own, and our analytics are cookie-free, so there's no cookie banner. The only exception is the optional Google Map described above.

Sharing your information

We don't sell your information. We only share it where we need to do the job: for example with the garage you've asked us to take your vehicle to, with payment providers when you pay by card or bank transfer, or where the law requires it (such as the police after an accident).

How long we keep it

We keep job and payment records for as long as we need them for the job and for tax and accounting purposes (HMRC generally requires records to be kept for at least five years after the 31 January submission deadline for the tax year). We delete what we no longer need.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that's wrong
• ask us to delete your information, where we don't need to keep it
• object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
